Way back in December 2020, the FeedSax project held a virtual conference, attended by hundreds from around the globe.

We’re now excited to announce that the proceedings of this conference will be published later this year by Liverpool University Press. The book is called New Perspectives on the Medieval ‘Agricultural Revolution’: Crop, Stock and Furrow, and features an atmospheric cover image from our contributor Claus Kropp, of the Lauresham Open-Air Laboratory:

Crop, Stock and Furrow – coming soon!

If you’re interested in agricultural history, medieval archaeology, landscape history, or archaeological science – this volume is for you!

With publication due this autumn – in paperback and as an open-access digital edition – keep an eye on the LUP website for further details.

This is excellent news! I was able to attend most of that conference and found it edifying and engaging. Looking forward to this publication!
